Day 1: Cochin
Arrive Cochin, Meet & Assist by Our Representative and Transfer to Hotel ,After freshen up Proceed for sightseeing Of Cochin. Visiting, The Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net & the indo-Portuguese Museum. Evening Free. overnight at Cochin.
Day 2: Cochin - Alleppey (65 Km-1.5Hrs Drive Approx)
Morning after breakfast Check out from Hotel & proceed to Alleppey & check into hotel or houseboat around afternoon (Between 1230-1300 Hrs. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters .See the Local village life along the banks .All three meals will be served on Board .Rest of the day at leisure on the House Boat. Enjoy the Evening sunset later the houseboat is anchored in a safer place. Overnight stay at Alleppey.
Day 3: Alleppey - Munnar (190Km - 4.5 Hrs Drive Approx)
Morning after breakfast Proceed to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty of waterfalls, high mountains Covered with the low flying clouds. Arrive & Check into Hotel . Evening free.Overnight stay at hotel in MUNNAR.
Day 4: Munnar
Morning after breakfast proceed for Sightseeing of Munnar ,situated near the Anaimudi Peak, the highest peak in the Western Ghats. Proceed to Mattupetty Lake and dam, this is a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and dam and View Mountains and landscapes ,Visit Eco point,Kundala dam, Also visit Eravikulam National Park, 15Kms from Munnar. Visit The Tea museum & Tea Factory, the local Markets .Night stay in Munnar.
Day 5: Munnar – Thekkady (Periyar) (110Km 3 Hrs Drive Approx)
Morning Proceed through scenic route dotted with plantations of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper and areca nut, to the wildlife reserve at Periyar. Arrive Periyar and Check into Hotel. After Freshen up Proceed for sightseeing of Periyar around in the peaceful town known for various Spice and coffee plantations. Optional :Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to see a large variety of wildlife, which include elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds can also be spotted. There are also few tribal villages to explore. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6: Thekkady - Rameshwaram (305Km- 7 Hrs Drive Approx)
Early morning after breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram - the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. Overnight at Rameshwaram.
Day 7: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari (350Km -6 Hrs Drive Approx)
After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari - the land's end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea , the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity - dedicated to the virgin Goddess , Kanya Kumari. To its South - East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set .Overnight at Kanyakumari.
Day 8: Kanyakumari - Kovalam via Poover Island (100Km -2.5 Hrs Drive Approx)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to kovalam. On the way can Cover Poovar Sightseeing. Poovar was a trading post during the reign of King Solomon where ships that carried timber, sandal wood and ivory landed. There are many ancient monuments and religious places in Poovar even today. The Central Mosque, which is thought to have built by Malik ibn Dinar around 1400 years ago is a popular tourist attraction in Poovar. Later proceed for a local sightseeingin Kovalam is a famous beach destination in South India. The Kovalam beach has wonderful Sapphire blue waters and palm trees swaying to the salty breeze. It is known as the paradise of the South. Rest of the day leisure at Kovalam Beach. Dinner and Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 9: Kovalam - Trivandrum – Kovalam ( 15 Kms- 30 Mts Drive one way)
After breakfast Proceed for sightseeing tour to Trivandrum city, the capital of Kerala. There you can visit Pathmanabha Swami Temple , Sri Chitra Art Gallery - houses paintings from the Mughal, Rajput and Tanjore schools of art. Besides these, the gallery has a rare collection of paintings by Raja Ravi Varma, Svetoslav and Nicholas Roerich. An Oriental collection consisting of paintings from China, Japan, Tibet and Bali are a visual treat to the visitor. You can also visit Zoo, Museum,. Evening back to Hotel for Dinner and overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam - Trivandrum departure
Morning after breakfast proceed to Airport/Railway Station for onward journey to the home town tour ends with lifetime memories.
